Grill 28 Hours of Operation
We are currently in our Spring season hours. SUN-THURS Grill 28 is open at 8am for breakfast and serving breakfast/lunch/dinner all day until 8:30pm. Last call for drinks is at 8:30pm and the restaurant closes at 9pm. FRI-SAT Grill 28 is open at 8am for breakfast and we serve breakfast/lunch/dinner until 9pm with last call at 9:30pm. The restaurant closes at 10pm on those two nights. Reservations can be made by calling (603)766-6466.
History of Grill 28
Grill 28 is a full service year-round restaurant open to the public located in the Pease Golf Course Clubhouse. The new clubhouse completed construction and was opened in 2010 with modern conference and function facilities, complete with Wi-Fi, internet connections, wireless microphone, and video projection.
In April 2011, Grill 28 opened to complement the new facility. The restaurant is open everyday serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner and features a full bar, reservations can be made by calling (603) 766-6466. Onsite catering services are also available for the 1,200 square feet of function space in the clubhouse available year-round and an outdoor tented area available May through October that can accommodate up to 160 seated guests.
The concept for Grill 28 was created by John Tinios, the well-known Seacoast restaurateur with over 40 years of experience and successes in Popovers on the Square, The Galley Hatch Restaurant, and Galley Hatch Catering at One Liberty Lane Conference Center. The philosophy of his companies has always been that great restaurants are built from the inside out - creating quality menus and building a great team produces fun atmospheres.

Eating out today is as much about entertainment as it is the quality of the food and service. Overlooking the 10th hole, Grill 28's scenic surroundings provide a relaxing atmosphere that seamlessly merges a resort-like atmosphere with dining hospitality for golfer and non-golfers alike. Seasonal patio and fireplace dining, a state-of-the-art music system, and friendly staff set the mood for a relaxing and enjoyable environment.
Our mission at Grill 28 is to provide great food and great service in a fun, relaxing atmosphere. Featuring a casual pub style menu with American and Mediterranean influences, the expansive selection of appetizers, sandwiches, salads, and entrees make Grill 28 the perfect place to relax with friends after work or have a business lunch. Whether you try the Tomato & Mozzarella Salad, Hot Pulled Pork Sandwich, Steak Tips, Greek Meatballs, Flatbread, or Haddock Au Gratin there is something for everyone. We even offer gluten free menu options!
Quiche, Steak & Eggs, Texas Toast and Omelets are a great way to start the day with The "Starter" full breakfast menu served 8-11am* daily.
And like the uniqueness of the 27-hole Pease Golf Course itself, our bar features a similar diversity in its offerings of domestic, local, and specialty beers, wines by the glass from around the world, and specialty drinks and martinis like The John Daly and The Lemon Wedge. "T-Time" Tapas are served daily from 2-8pm featuring small plate appetizers reasonably priced from $2-$8 including Greek Feta Dip, Irish Nachos, Popcorn Buffalo Shrimp, and Meat-za Flatbread.
Leading our culinary team at Grill 28 is Chef Kevin Harrington whose extensive cooking experience in the Seacoast area has made him a favorite of many local patrons at his former restaurants including The Eatery. And complementing him is our fine service team led by Jillian Mansfield who also has extensive experience in local Seacoast restaurants including The Galley Hatch. All of our talented kitchen and service staff are focused on providing our patrons a great experience at Grill 28.
Conveniently located in the Pease Tradeport at the Route 33 "back entrance" near Exit 3 off Route I-95, Grill 28 is easily accessible to Portsmouth and the Seacoast. Situated within the Pease Golf Course Clubhouse, the restaurant is located in front of the Pease airfield runway and offers a unique and spectacular view of the occasional takeoff and landing of jets like a huge C-130 Hercules or an A-10 Thunderbolt.
